The TPMS is the acronym for Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This system monitors the pressure of the tire and when it drops below a certain pressure, the TPMS ECU makes the warning lamp turn on for notifying the driver. This system consists of TPMS ECU(or TPMS Receiver), Initiators and TPMS sensors. Among components of TPMS system, the TPMS sensor is installed at each wheel rim. and its role is to measure the air pressure and the temperature of the tire and then it transmits its signals to TPMS ECU.
