SCC(Smart Cruise Control) checks the battery voltage and generator output voltage to determine whether the SCC system can operate normally or not.
The normal battery voltage range is essential for controlling the SCC system as intended.
SCC sets this code if terminal input voltage declines 9V when engine run. if terminal input voltage climbs by normal voltage range ,SCC recovers to normal state .
Item
Detecting Condition
Possible cause
DTC Strategy
Terminal input voltage monitoring
Poor connection
Open or short in power harness
Faulty charging system
Enable Conditions
Engine Run (engine rpm higher than 400 at least for 2s)
Threshold value
Terminal input voltage < 9V
Diagnosis Time
Immediately (minimum fault detect time : 10ms)
Recover Condition
Terminal input voltage declines normal voltage range
Fail Safe
SCC is temporarily not available
Yellow SCC warning lamp turns on
