The VSM is the Vehicle Stability Management system. This system controls its steering system and brake system on the center of ESP(Electronic Stability Program). As a result of that, it ultimately makes sure of its vehicle stability. The MDPS ECU exchanges various signals with HECU through CAN communication in order to control the VSM.
The HECU checks the CAN communcation lines for normal ESP control, and sets this code if a fault signal related to VSM2 message is detected.
