The CAN communication is one of various communication type and this has a parallel circuit in order to interchange various information among units, for example, PCU, ESP(or FTCS), TCCU. This type of communication can share a lot of information with units faster by using specified language. The ITM-ECU performs active control by sharing signals of engine RPM, APS, shift position, torque reduction.
If the 4WD ECM gets an invalid signal of transaxle gear, it sets this DTC in order to protect its engine from damage.
